Following a root canal, it is normal to experience a few days of soreness. Soft foods are recommended initially so there will be less discomfort while chewing. By the fourth week, all pain and discomfort should have subsided.
To help manage any pain and discomfort, you can take Advil or Motrin as needed. If you have any questions or concerns following your treatment, please do not hesitate to call our office. If your call is after hours, the answering service will page someone to assist you.
